Introducing the LCOM Card Team!!!

MEET JERUSHA BORDEN
I am a stay at home mom to 2 exciting little boys who fill my life with joy. My husband is a wonderful man who loves me and supports me in this craft, even purchasing supplies for me here and there just because. I started paper crafting when my oldest boy was born, so I could scrapbook his precious baby moments. I was pleasantly surprised it did not result in former fiascos from my elementary school days such as lopsided pottery (which my dear, sweet father still has displayed in his home office) and unrecognizable stained glass. Two years ago I discovered card making when I decided to make my pastor's wife a card of encouragement. I enjoyed it so much, I knew it was something I would continue to do for many years. I love to create anything paper because it whisks me away from my reality and takes me to my happy place where I can creatively express myself while recharging my batteries for motherhood moments where I might need a little grace. It has also boosted my crafty confidence, I might just try pottery and stained glass yet! If you want to see more of my work, stop on my blog .

MEET DANIELLE CASELLO
I am 26 years old, I have been married for almost 5 years, to my husband John and we have 2 boxer doggies, Chewie & Stella. I work full time as a hairstylist in a spa just outside of the Twin Cities in MN. When I am not working I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my family. If I am not doing those things you can find me in my craft room! You can see more of my work on my blog,

MEET ANITA MULCAHEY
I am married to the love of my life and have been for almost 25 years, in a couple of weeks. We have two children a senior in high school and a sophomore. I work part-time from home and have a lot of free time to paper craft. Although I do scrapbooking and altering of items, making cards is my first love. You can see more of my work at my blog.

MEET CORINNE REYES MERCADO
I'm a pediatric registered nurse who works full time but finds relaxation and peace in papercrafting. I've been a scrapbooker for 15 years on and off, and do mostly card-making/ stamping since last July. My style is versatile, sometimes full of clean lines. But mostly, I like the eclectic/ whimsical route. I love being unique. I've been married to my best friend for two years and am a mommy to an 11-mo-old..  You can see more of my work at my blog.

MEET JJ SOBEY
Hi, my name is JJ, and I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. For those who didn't do any better in geography than I did in school, I'm about one hour north of Plattsburgh, New York. My husband and I were married in 2001, in a costumed, Renaissance wedding (there’s my weird fact for the day). We have a four year old boy, and a one year old baby girl. My kids are the reason that I started scrapbooking. I resisted the hobby for many years, because I knew it would be addicting. No surprise - now I'm firmly hooked!

I've been crafting in one form or another since I was big enough to hold a crayon. Sewing was my biggest obsession, and I go back and forth to that still, as the muses strike, but it's kind of taken a backseat to the scrapbooking. And I'm OK with that. I mostly scrap 12x12, but I dabble in other formats. Some call my style Shabby Chic, but my style might be better described as ‘eclectic’ – some days I like simple, other days – not so much. Lately my style has been trending towards more distressed and grungy.
As you may have already realized, besides Scrapbooking – some of my other addictions are Starbucks, Sushi and Styx (classic rock). But not all at the same time - Peppermint Mocha and Spicy Scallops just don't mix. (Styx is, of course, perfect with either.)  You can see more of my work at my blog

MEET EMILY THOMPSON
i'm known on the LCOM boards as emilysue.

i live a very simple life with my husband and my dog.

i work in the childcare profession, and i am very passionate about the field of early childhood education.

i enjoy all avenue's of scrapbooking, from altering objects to layouts, but i really enjoy cards because they give me a small canvas to test out techniques.

i enjoy giving loved ones my cards so they are able to have and hold the words that come from my heart. Here's my blog.

 MEET MELISSA WRIGHT
I live in Saint John, NB with my wonderful husband of 5 years, Greg and our 4 year old Bichon Frise, Huggie. I have been scrapping for 2 and half years and love every minute of it!! I love to create cards with lots of embellishments and bling. I love to give my homemade cards to others and see their reaction when they open up the card. It is almost better than seeing their reaction to their gift!! I never really knew how much people appreciated my cards until a lady I work with said she saves my christmas cards every year and makes them into ornaments. I hope to spread my love of card making to others!!  You can see more of my work at my blog.

MEET SANDI JOHNSON
I live near Gettysburg, PA and have been married to my husband Craig for almost 18 years.  He has come to the realization that my love for paper and stamps is just not going to go away.:) I have 3 wonderful children.  Gabrielle is 15, Katarina is 13 and Jeremy is 10.  I am a third grade teacher, so for part of the year I get to be a SAHM.  We have a Golden Retriever named Bentley who gets hair all over my house, but he is sure loveable and my little love bug, Stamper who is a Miniature Pinscher and Toyfox terrier mix.  I love scrapbooking, but cards are just so much more faster and easier.  When I make a scrapbook page I am keeping it, but when I make a card I am giving a piece of my heart to someone.  Here's my blog.

Stop back tomorrow and find out what the challenge is going to be for the week (wonder if you can guess what it's going to be ...WINK..WINK) .  Also, lots of fun changes in store for you.  Have a happy Saturday! Are you enjoying the Birthday Bash?  It's not too late! Get in there and start celebrating!!!!
