Card Sketch for Week of December 5th

It's so hard to believe it's already December! It seems like only yesterday we were enjoying the sunny warm weather and complaining of the hot humid weather.  Now...it's getting cold and snow is upon us!!!  Heat Miser and Mr. Snow...it seems we want the other...when the other isn't around!!!

We have another sketch for you this week.  And the added extra challenge is...yes! you guessed it add at least one snowflake on your card.

Here's Team A's takes on the sketch!!!

And welcoming a new Card Team Member this week....

Hello everyone. My name is Kimberly Figures. I currently reside in Canada’s capital. I am the mother to 2 rascally kiddos (6 and 8) who have made my life an interesting adventure -- one that I never knew I wanted to have until I found myself in the middle of it!
My husband and I have been together now for 22 years. He is a very patient man who puts up with piles of paper, glitter and paint all over the house when I get in one of my creative moods. Considering that one of those creative moods seems to happen every other day, I count myself very lucky.
In my real life, I am an admin. assistant for a semi-conductor manufacturing company. As one of only 3 women in my office -- and the only non-engineer -- card making and scrapbooking allows me to de-stress and fill a “girly” void that is missing from my day.
I have always been involved in making crafts and I fell into card making and scrapbooking a little over 5 years ago. Who knew that it would grow into such a large part of my life? It certainly surprised me. I tend to be a slow paper crafter and to over think every project that I do. I enjoy the process of moving items around and to find something that is visually appealing to me. My style tends to be busy, layered and eclectic.
I am excited to be part of the LCOM Card Team and look forward to sharing with you.

Now it's your turn!!! Let's see what you do with it and at least one snowflake! Post your card  link to Mr. Linky by Saturday, December 11 at 8PM EST for a chance to be our next GDT for the week of December 20 and 15% off your next LCOM order. Also, for some added extra fun...leave a comment and tell us who is your favorite Mr. Christmas or Heat Miser.  I have some Hot Chocolate 12X12 Upsy Daisy paper for the RAK. I'll post who the Card of the Week and hopefully some faves and the RAK winner of the comment section on Sunday, December 12.    Can't wait to see your snowflake cards!!! Stay warm this week!
(here's a picture of the RAK paper!)

I have to say Mr. Heat Miser is my friend!!! I LOVE to be warm!!!! I don't like his grouchy self in the movie, but I sure like the heat!

I like the heat much better than this cold. I can't believe I am the first for this challenge! I have to admit, the banner was a little tricky~not something I would normally do, but I like how it turned out. I inverted some of the design aspects in the sketch, but you can find them all there!

Lovely cards all and welcome Kimberly! Being from the tropics, I love the heat. So I'll have to dress up warm for my London vacation next month.
