Awesome Leftovers

It's mini album month here at LCOM, and I'm working on a fun album to share with you using the appropriately named Awesome line from Simple Stories. While the album is getting the finishing touches, today I'll show you that no matter how little you have left over from a larger project, you can always squeeze out a layout (or more) from the scraps.

Although I had no full sheets of the collection left,  I was able to frame my page using four 1/2 inch strips of patterned paper. You can also get more bang out of your stickers and cut-outs by using them in different ways.

I mounted one on a punched corrugated cardboard shape.

I used foam spacers for dimension, and layered for interest.

The pre-made banner, and fun washi tape stickers made things really easy...

( no that isn't real washi tape, it's a sticker!).
I added a few final touches using pigment ink, and a Crafter's Workshop template, the benefit of this technique is that it creaes a totally new layer of detail, and I get to customize the colour to match the collection.

I can't wait to share my finished album with you!
