Tanya asked me if I would do something with Tim Holtz new “Burlap Canvas”. Well I always love a challenge and especially one with Tim Holtz products. For those of you who know me well, you know I will meet him someday!!! Lol
Thanks so much Tanya for the CHALLENGE!!!
So I truly love how this turned out. I distressed the canvas a little to darken it up with Tim Holtz’s new Walnut Distress Stain. I also added some Distress Stain on the grungeboard piece and then added Crackle Accent over it. I love the look of the metal gears with some alcohol inks added to them. And we can’t forget how I always ink the edges of my paper with distress inks from Tim Holtz and also how the edges are distressed with the funky Distress-it All machine. I then started to add my paper and embellishments and Voila!!! I hope you like it as much as I do.
Supplies: Paper (Basic Grey), Cardstock (Tim Holtz & Ranger Distress Collection), Grungeboard (Tim Holtz), Metal Gears (Little Yellow Bicycle).
vintage photo distress ink (to ink the background of the canvas, it
was a little too bright for me to begin with)
grunge alphas, rusty hinge distress ink, walnut stain distress stain
tim holtz trim, paper clip, buttons, adornments, type charms, facets
cocktail napkin from our wedding provided the text and the potty people :)
