Sketch This Out! - LCOM - Sketch #62 - Reveal

It's Saturday, everyone! Isn't that just wonderful? ;) And you know what that means... it's reveal day at Let's Capture Our Memories! And a "Sketch This Out!" reveal at that!! Woo!Hoo! So, on that note, let's see how three designers created differently using the same products and the same sketch.

This week, Ashley, Aurelie and Jocelyne worked with this Becky Fleck sketch from Pagemaps.com:

And what about the products? C'mon! What did they use? ;) How about a few pieces from the American Crafts' Amy Tangerine -Yes, Please collection:

Here's what American Crafts have to say about this playful collection: "Adventure through city park landscapes with the hand-drawn playfulness of Amy Tangerine Yes, Please. Watercolors accent the canvas, with a pleasing mix of soft and bold hues depicting scenes of the city, nature and that classic Amy Tangerine camera. Paint the town fun with Amy Tangerine Yes, Please."

And here's what the LCOM girls came up with:

Ashley Hamm

Supplies used: Patterned Paper, Stickers - American Crafts (Amy Tangerine - Yes, Please), Plastic Die-Cut Hearts, Washi Tape, Stamp, Chipboard Shapes - Studio Calico, Puffy Sticker - Skipping 5, Alphas - American Crafts

Aurélie Cormier

Supplies used: Patterned Paper, Stickers - American Crafts (Amy Tangerine - Yes, Please), Alphas - American Crafts, Felt Clouds - Pebbles, Paint - Tattered Angels, Stencil - Tim Holtz, Ink - Stampin' Up, Thread - DMC, Washi Tape - Queen & Co.

Jocelyne Roy

Supplies used: Patterned Paper, Stickers - American Crafts (Amy Tangerine - Yes, Please), Enamel Shapes - Close to My Heart, Flowers - Prima, Ribbon - Webster's Pages, Button - Fancy Pants, Alphas - American Crafts

Pretty cool, eh, how different yet totally effective these layouts are? And of course, most of the products used can be found in the LCOM store right here.

Want to play with this week's sketch? There's a great prize up for grabs - one lucky winner from all projects linked to reveals for sketches 61-62-63-64-65 will haul a $20 gift certificate to the LCOM store. YAHOO!

How to Play Along:

1. Make a newly created project using the provided sketch and upload it to your blog or online gallery.
2. Then leave a link to your project using the Inlinkz widget at the bottom of this post. Please use a direct link to your LCOM Sketch post and not just your blog address.
3. If you upload to online galleries, please also use tag/keyword LCOM62. LCOM products are NOT required to participate, and you can enter as many times as you want. If you don't have a particular shape indicated in the sketch, feel free to substitute.
4. There is no time limit - you can always play any week at any time, but the linking form will close on the last day of the month at 8:00pm (Atlantic Standard Time) to allow us to find a prize winner.

Please visit the blog again on Monday, when Jocelyne will be here to show you what inspired her for her last scrappy endeavour.

Happy scrapping!

Great sketch! I simplified it a little since I wanted the photo to really show up. Hidden journaling tag behind photo.
Thanks for sharing this great sketch! :)
