I found this color combination over at Design Seeds. The photo first caught my attention for its simplicity. Then the heart shape cookies and all those little sprinkles... I started licking my lips and really wanted to eat a cookie!! And those colors! They are so perfect for this month's Spot and so current right now!
I really get excited when our Guest Designers send me their projects every month. It's like opening that one special gift at Christmas that you've been wanting to open for so long! Opening my email and seeing such great projects every month, makes my heart sing!
This month is no different! I asked my scrappy friend and fellow designer Laura Whitaker if she would play along with this month's Color Spot. My heart sings!!
Wow! Right? I just love how Laura used lots of different materials to build her layers. Lots of texture, yet her layout is so soft and simple. Those layers create the perfect frame for her handsome subject!! I love how she "sprinkled" all the colors of this month's spot all over her page.
