Product shuffle : Old Frame and a Circle Punch

In my scraproom, on the very top of my paper organizer, I have a stack of stuff that is collecting dust, waiting for me to get inspired and use in some project someday.  Today I use one of those products.  It is this silver frame.
I knew I wanted to make a Christmas theme frame, something like a small advent calendar.  That was my launching pad.  First step was glue paper onto the back of the frame. I chose some leftover Basic Grey  25th &Pine.
Before sliding the back into the frame I used some 3D foam tape around the perimeter of the frame, I then used some Maya Road ribbon and glued it directly onto the tape.

After I slid the frame in, I used some liquid accent to glue some small circle containers onto the back. These containers previously stored some of my brads, I then punched circles in the pattern paper using my circle punch, and then glued the paper on the inside of the container lids.

Another cool find was this packaging from Prima that I was about the throw out.  See those banners on the lower left hand side? I incorporated them into my frame .  It was  just the punch of red I needed

To finish it off, I then added Webster's Pages ribbon, Simple Stories and Jillybean Soup alphas and some unknown pearls I had sitting next to my brad stach, and there you have it.  My 12 days of Christmas advent calendar.
I hope that you like it and inspires you to look into your scraproom and find how you can bring life into your "to be used later" stash.
