Have you seen all the goodies that have been appearing in the LCOM shop lately? I had the privileged of seeing some of the new addition in person and I must say, I hope I find some of them under my tree! I got to play with some brand new Vivienne by BAsic Grey last weekend and it is simply gorgeous! Check it out here.
All the pinks and greens and browns, I could not wait to play with it. So I was gathering my papers and pictures and this paper needed some sort of trim. I went hunting in my bin of ribbon and came across a pink zipper that I had saved from one of my daughter's old sweater. It was the perfect color!
I placed my zipper on my background and trimmed large pieces of paper to go on either side of the half opened zipper. I then went on the hunt to find cardstock to mount my circle sticker and my picture. Like Goldilocks, I found papers that were too dark, or too light, to plain or too busy. I then found myself looking at the brown paper bag that my paper was in and though to myself "that one is just right!" I krinkled it a little more and found that just a mat around the sticker was too plain, so I took my scallop border punch and then folded and layered the scallops around the sticker.
Here is the finished layout. Other than Basic Grey, I used CTMH ribbon and American Crafts Thickers.
I hope you like it!
