Good morning!

We're finally seeing so snow accumulate on the ground this morning!  We're a little excited about it since in a "normal" January, we'd already have a few feet of snow on the ground!  We're not sure how long it will stay, though as the is freezing rain and rain in the forecast for later today.  We'll enjoy the winter scene in the meantime.

December Color Spot

Welcome to December!!

We have now received a nice blanket of white snow and everything is so pretty.  Makes for great walks in the trails and breathtaking views!!  I'm getting my camera ready for some actions!  And what better place then right here for inspiration to create some lovely layouts with those pictures.

Let's get right to it.  I believe this month's color spot will leave you all warm and fuzzy with inspiration!

Another great color combination from Design Seeds.  It's my go to for color inspiration and I just had to share this one with you!  I'm in love with the reds and greys!!

I asked my dear friend and fellow designer team member Gisèle Julien if she would have a go at this month's color spot.  It's nothing short than fabulous!  Here's her take on this month's spot.

I love all the circle accents she created on her page.  It makes my eyes move across her page in a whimsical way.  LOVE those maple leafs!  The punch of red and grey is just perfect.

Here's a few close-ups of the string details.  This is such a great way to add detail to your layout.

Good morning everyone!

We hope you enjoyed our Design Team's Reveal yesterday!!  We sure did!  We have some very talented ladies who are eager to inspire you and be inspired by you!  We can't wait to see all of your creations linked up!

LCOM - Layout of the Month

Welcome to December's Layout of the Month!

This month's layout is comes to you by member Ashley.  When ever I look through the gallery for inspiration, I always stop on Ashley's projects.  There's just something special about all of them.  Her projects are so simple and subtle , yet they're full of texture and layers.  I love her story telling and her dog is such a cutie!!

December Color Spot

December already!  The year has gone by so fast!  Now that we are officially in the month of December, we are getting ready to put up the tree and decorate!  The kids are so excited!

This month's color spot is inspired by Christmas ornaments.  They look so special, like they were made at home with tender loving care!  I love the softness of the image and just a little pop of color in the center.  I thought it would be a great jumping point for inspiration for this month's spot.

I love how Ashley used mist on her background.  And the washi and glitter tapes in the top corner... Adore! I also love that her page doesn't scream Christmas, although it's clearly a Christmas theme!  How sweet is her pup!  Makes for a great Christmas card to send to family and friends!

I also had a go at this month's Color Spot.  Although the colors in the photo really appealed to me, I honestly had a hard time putting this layout together.  But in the end, I like how it turned out.
