February Color Spot

Good morning!

Can you believe February is already here?!  Time really flies by when you're having fun scrapbooking, doesn't it?  We love sharing inspiration with you and in turn being inspired by you!

Being that February is the month for LOVE, our February Color Spot is inspired by the love theme.  I found this image by Julia Davia Lampe.  I loved the milk spatter and the heart shaped cookies.  I'm also a sucker for a great mug and those polka dots just make me smile!  The pinks and reds and the subtle blue background was perfect for this month's Color Spot.

I asked my friend and follow designer, Michelle Gallant to have a go with our Color Spot and she has create a fabulous layout!

Love by Michelle Gallant

Michelle provided some close-ups of her work.  I love her attention to detail.  The ink splatters remind me of the milk splatter in the Spot!   The use of the wood veneers and badges add such a great touch by framing the photo and bringing your attention to it.  Using the neutral brown color helps ground all those lovely colors together.

Thank you Michelle, for playing with us this month.  We hope you were inspired by our February Color Spot.  Make sure you share with us your creations by linking them below.  We LOVE seeing all that you do!!

Meet the MT week!

Our Marketing Team wrapped up a few weeks ago - and this week, we will reveal our Marketing Team to you! You will see some familiar faces and a few newbies too!! We know that you will all be inspired and maybe even learn a trick or two too :)

We asked our MT members to share a page all about them for reveal week!

First up, is veteran MT member Michelle Gallant!

Hi everyone, my name is Michelle Gallant and I live in NB Canada with my hubby of almost 12 years and 2 beautiful kids. I'm very lucky to be starting my second term as part of this amazing marketing team. I have been scrapping for about 6 years and I've recently started to get interested in photography as well. I try to scrap at least a few minutes every day (sometimes on my lunch hour). It truly makes me happy!

Feel free to visit my blog: http://scrapsandpixels.blogspot.ca/

Check out a sample of Michelle's work:
MME Miss Caroline - Fiddlesticks paper, brads and embellishments; thickers; ZVA pearl flourish; Prima flowers; Prima butterfly; Prima resin ornament

Just look at the detail on those flowers! How pretty!

Please help me welcome back Michelle to our Marketing Team!
