It's time for me to share another project I did this month using My Little Shoebox's Sew Cute line!
I love the fabulous grid paper in the line and knew right away that I wanted to use it with some misting!

I misted a title made out of the Maya Road Love Words - they are SO cute and take misting so well too. I sewed right over them easily with my machine!
Did you notice the strip of tulle along the right edge of the layout? Yep, I tied up the tulle and added some ribbons to it at each gathered spot. Also, I added some smaller pieces of tulle to the centers and in the layers of the circle "flowers" I made. It is such a cheap and easy little touch that you can add to almost anything!

Hope you are enjoying all the projects the Marketing Team has been sharing this month with you! Stay tuned for more!

Mini book project

Mini book
by Nicole Nowosad
Supplies used:

to make this mini album, all I used was:
2 pieces of chipboard cut to 3.25" square (for the front and back covers)
1 piece of cardstock
a piece of ribbon about 14" long
Super strong adhesive like Scortape

(video is about 10 mins - sorry, I like to talk)

Opened up, this is what your album should look like:
These albums are super addictive and you will make them over and over again!
I know there are a lot of steps, but once you make a couple, you don't even need them!

Here are a few close up shots of the album I made:

I used a lot of the die cut shapes in this album - they were just the perfect size for the album. I trimmed a few down and used them on multiple pages. Added a few punched shapes out of the patterned papers and some Technique Tuesday stamps too.

I left some spaces for photos inside, as this is intended for a baby gift, but you could definitely add in your own photos too!
Hope you will give this a try !

Always & Forever

Welcome to June at Let's Capture Our Memories!

This month, the Marketing Team has lots of creative projects to share with you!

I was lucky enough to have some goodies from My Little Shoebox to play with this month - the Sew Cute line.

Always & Forever
by Nicole Nowosad

Supplies Used:
My Mind`s Eye - Gertie label stickers

This line is girly and fun, I just love it! I love the mix of brown, pink, yellow and teal of course!

For this page, I used a sheet of cardstock and the Nothing But Buttons patterned paper. Then I used a good amount of the Die Cuts from the sheet - there are so many different shapes to choose from on the one sheet, and I knew I wanted to use a bunch on a page!

I added a little detail to the die cuts once they were on my page. Here are a few closeups of what I did:
For the flower shape I cut out a bunch of the mini buttons from the Nothing But Buttons paper and sewed them on in a whimsical grid pattern, and then added some real buttons to a few random pieces.

I used another flower shape as the base for my title, and used some glimmer misted Maya Road chipboard words (my new absolute favorite thing - where have I been!)
For the dressform sticker, I added sewed on some of the Bazzill White Tulle and then some Stickles to the polka dots. I added another glimmer misted Maya Road word too :)
