Product Shuffle : 6X6 paper pack

I have a confession to make.  I have never purchased a 6X6 paper pack.  Why buy a 6X6 when you can get a 12X12.  What if I need a bigger piece?  I have seen the light!  6X6 paper packs are AWESOME!  Did you know that the graphics on the 6X6 are smaller than the their 12X12 counterparts?  I just discovered this last week!  Brilliant!
Now my challenge was to use a 6X6 paper pack in an unconventional way.  The conventional way of using it would be for making cards or to use the paper as accents on your layouts.  The paper I decided to use are the Beautiful Life and For the Record paper packs both by Echo Park and both available in the LCOM shop.

As some of you may know, I love flowers.  They are almost always on my layouts.  I love the dimension they add to any layout and how they draw attention.  So I went on the hunt for a new paper flower to make, one that I had not made before.  The chosen flower is a Kusudama flower, a sort of origami technique.  The double sided paper were perfect for this technique as the reverse side of the paper is a contrasting pattern that adds even more dimension to the flowers.  Once the flowers were complete, I then glued a small button with twine at the center of each flower.
As a base for the bouquet of Kusudama flowers, I made a paper cone wreath.  I used a whole 6X6 sheet to make each of the cones.  I simply placed a strip of double sided tape on one side of the paper and glued the sides of the paper together to make the cones.  To hide the seams, I simply glued some May Arts ribbon.  Each cone was then glued to a chipboard circle.
I then glued the bouquet of flowers at the center of the wreath.  Love how it all came together.
I had so much fun making this project.  It has now found it's home in my hallway, the cheery colors giving us a little color as the snow is falling outside.
There is my product shuffle - Do you have an unconventional way to use your 6X6 paper packs? Please let us know in the comments.
