I love how everyone interpreted the sketch and gave it a twirl to make it work for them!! Lots of different elements with different textures that make each layout so unique and totally appropriate for each subject. Let's put our hands together and make a joyful noise! ;)
And here's Becky's card sketch and this week's card designs:
Cécile Lavoie
Crystal Thompson
Isabelle Elliott
Shirley Tait
Once again, all kinds of techniques and textures by our cardmakers! Woo!Hoo! And I love this card sketch! I love it so much that I think I might use it for a layout sketch, too!!
Now, it's your turn! Show us how you would make these sketches your own and link them to this post. We're just under the wire, but an awesome prize is still up for grabs for all those who link projects in the month of March using any of sketches 61-62-63-64-65. The more projects your submit, the more chances you get to win the prize!
Our March Prize
Our March prize is fabulous $20 gift certificate to the LCOM store!
How to Play Along:
1. Make a newly created project using the provided sketch and upload it to your blog or online gallery.
2. Then leave a link to your project using the Inlinkz widget at the bottom of this post. Please use a direct link to your LCOM Sketch post and not just your blog address.
3. If you upload to online galleries, please also use tag/keyword LCOM65. LCOM products are NOT required to participate, and you can enter as many times as you want. If you don't have a particular shape indicated in the sketch, feel free to substitute.
4. There is no time limit - you can always play any week at any time, but the linking form will close on the last day of the month at 8:00pm (Atlantic Standard Time) to allow us to find a prize winner.
Please come visit us again on Monday, when Jocelyne will share her latest inspiration piece. See you then!
Happy scrapping!
