Frosty Face

Hi Everyone!

Last week I shared a non-traditional layout using Pink Paislee’s Snow Day collection. So it seems only fitting to share a layout I created using the collection in a more traditional way. I can’t get enough of all the great colours and embellishments in the collection!

Here are some close-ups of the details on my layout. First up is the gorgeous ephemera pack available with this line. Here you can see the journaling spot and the “frosty” tag:

Here are some more gorgeous diecuts, all included in the ephemera pack (for less than $5.00 people!):

Next up are the mini alphabet stickers, called Bitty Blocks (and a title from the ephemera pack. Here, you can also see some of the Maya Road transparent snowflakes from the LCOM store:

A final close-up of some details:

And here’s my layout:

Run to the LCOM store and get this line, if you haven’t already! There is still a good selection of this collection and the prices are so great!

Supplies used:
Pink Paislee Daily Junque Ephemra
Pink Paislee Mini notes & labels

My favorite thing about the Pink Paislee - Daily Junque collection has to be the mini banner like tabs on the paper. They are really all the rage right now, and the paper line has these images all over it!

For this page, I added a few of the MME label stickers and they blended right into the pattern of the papers:
and the Elle's Studio tags do the same thing!
There are lots of neat goodies tucked away in the Let's Capture Our Memories store.... what are you waiting for.. check something out ;)

Some Junque Cards :)

Cards
by Nicole Nowosad

Supplies used:
Pink Paislee Daily Junque Ephemra
Pink Paislee Mini notes & labels

I couldn't resist attempting to make a few more masculine birthday cards with this kit. There are lots of fun patterns that are definately girly, but there are some items that are pretty masculine too! I just love the look of the Ephemra pack and Mini notes & label items,  and thought they were perfect additions to some cards.

You can really stretch your supplies when you use bits and pieces of the papers to make some cards for a friend or family member.  All you have to do is add a few buttons, or twine and voila you have a quick and simple card ready to go! The Daily Junque collection really has everything you need!

Please check out the store for all the clearance items and new items being loaded almost daily! Come back soon to see what the rest of the marketing team has been up to!

The papers are a unique blend of funky hip modern with a twist of vintage mixed in. Just check out the bird and quote on this paper:

I added a bit of Bazzill Tulle to the Prima flowers for some softness
The Twinery twine adds a simple touch to the photo.. and it is such a good deal!!! Steal some up quickly!!!
I just love the 2 fonts that you get on the Bella Blvd. alpha sticker sheets.. and 2 different colors too!

Warm spring weather means that our family is outside more, which leaves less time for scrapbooking; however, that problem is easily resolved simply by combining the great sketches found here at Let's Capture Our Memories along with the wonderfully coordinated Pink Paislee papers and embellishments from the LCOM STORE!

For my project, I started with Sketch #79, found at the LCOM Sketch Blog. It's actually several weeks old, but it seemed to fit my very cute, very colorful Pink Paislee Hometown Summer papers.

I chose plain kraft paper as my background so that it would further set off the bright greens, pinks and yellows of the patterned cardstock in the Hometown Summer collection. The different patterns and colors all coordinate so well together that you may have a hard time narrowing your choices!!!

I used this sheet of paper (called Summer Fun)to create my banner-style title:

I simply cut out the appropriate squares to spell out my title and then used a piercing tool to make holes so that my baker's twine could be threaded through.

Pretty cute and so quick and easy to do!

The adorable orange soda card and the sun and cloud were both included in the Die Cut Pieces pack. They perfectly compliment the Pink Paislee papers!

I adhered pop dots to the back of my orange soda card and sewed around the border so as to make it stand out even more.

The Hometown Summer papers are sooooo cute, I even used them to make my flowers!

Stay tuned until next week when I will be back with another Pink Paislee project. Until then, check out all the wonderful spring goodies LCOM is getting in its STORE each week!!!
