Good morning everyone!
With fall here in full swing and Halloween just around the corner, I had an urge to make something that goes with this time of year. It just so happens that my daughter has friends that have their birthday on Halloween and she needed cards! Two birds with one stone!
The only problem was that while digging into my stash, I could not for the life of me find any Halloween paper, stickers or trinkets. While I know I have some hiding somewhere in my craft room, I'm sure they'll surface once Halloween is over.
I had an idea of creating a spider web using floss. I started with a octogonal frame that I cut out of black cardstock. Using a 6X6 card, I simply cut the corners to make the shape. I then used my paper piercer to poke holes in the corners of the frame and in the middle of each section.
I used floss to first make a star shape, bringing the floss from one hole to the one on the oposite side of the frame. I then started knoting the floss, going around the frame in a snail shape until I reached the center.
Once the web was complete, I added pattern paper to the back. I also added some Prima flowers, Alpha sticker from american crafts, ribbon from Webster's Pages and a sentiment found on a zip strip of pattern paper I found once the card was almost complete .
And there you have it! A Halloween card made of paper and floss. It was really very fun to make. I hope you like it,.

Product Shuffle : Mesh
Hello friends!
What a beautiful day today. The sun is shining and I'm hiding in my basement scrapbooking summer pictures! It's perfect!
I love to cook and spend a great chunk of my day in the kitchen. This week's product shuffle came to me in the kitchen. As I was preparing my ingredients for my chili, I cut the top of my onion bag and set it to the side while I started chopping them.
Later, when everything was simmering, I started cleaning up and found the mesh bag top of my onions that lay in a perfect circle on my counter. That was the starting point of my layout. How perfect was this Page Maps sketch to incorporate my mesh circle?
All I had to do now was find the perfect paper to use with the orange mesh. I finaly chose some delicious Carta Bella and the Hello Again 6X6 paper pad.
To make the circle, I just placed a big glue dot in the center of where I wanted to place my mesh. I then cut the metal tie from the onion bag and placed the center of the opening on the glue dot. The rest of the circle simply stretched away and I added the picture and the embelishments on top.
Along with the Carta Bella, I also used Studio Calico paper, a Jillibean Soup vellum butterfly, Prima flowers, Basic Grey Buttons and stickers, CTMH cardstock and stickers and a Teresa Collins brad.
Here is the finished layout. I love how the mesh gives it just a suttle little something to tie everything together. Have you ever found scrappy inspiration in your kitchen? Let us know and see you soon!

Product Shuffle - Ribbon Flower
Hello everyone!
Jocelyne here with another product shuffle for you. I hope you are enjoying your summer so far. We have enjoyed a small staycation and an amazing camping trip so far and we are getting ready to make a road trip soon. Getting excited for my vacation week that is coming soon! I jsut have to remember to take my camera out and gather material to scrapbook!
This month I will show you how to use your ribbon to make a very cute flower. I chose a wide Webster's Pages scallop edge trim ribbon, but you could use any ribbon really although a ribbon on the widder side will be easier.
First step is to take your ribbon and thread some floss all along the side of the ribbon
Once you have done that all the way, just pull on the floss on either side and tie them together. That's it! Super easy isn't it!? I added a little star fish in the middle, but you could add a button, bling or anything else to complete it.
Sketch 128 from last reveal was my inspiration for the layout I made using the flower. I also used some Studio Calico wood veneers. They are juste so cute don't you think?
Here is my completed layout using the very nautical Adrift collection from Basic Grey.
I also used some American Crafts alpha sticker and the seagull veneer is from CTMH.
I hope I inspired you to use some of your ribbon or trim in a non conversional way. I hope that you all have a great rest of summer and I'll see you next month same time same place! Big hugs to all of you!

Product Shuffle - Gold Pen
Good Morning and Happy Father's Day!
I am not used to making anything masculine. I love my Prima flowers and my ribbon but that was just not going to cut it on a father's day card. As I was cleaning out my scrapbooking carrier, I was testing out my markers to see if they were still working and came across a Pilot gold pen that I had forgotten I had. It still worked and I knew I wanted to use it on my card.
To make the focal image, I used a CTMH stamp and some reinker. Adding a few drops of reinker to a sponge and then over saturating the stamp let you stamp a wider image. I then used the gold pen to draw over the stamped image.
I used the same pen to doodle around the torn cardstock and draw a few stars around the card.
I also used a ruler and my trusty pen to add faux stitching to the bottom part of the card.
And there you have it! My husband's father's day card.
Along with CTMH cardstock, ribbon and stamp, I used Carta Bella's Well Played paper, Basic Grey photo frame, My Mind's Eye enamel dots and Prima wood buttons
Have yourself a great day and I'll see you next month!

Product Shuffle : Title Letters
Good morning!
It has happened to all of us. You have your layout almost done, you just have to put your title in. You find the perfect font in the perfect color in your stash, but as you spell out the letters to your title, you notice that your are missing an "E". You can go about this problem 3 ways as I see it. Try to find a title that will work with the letters you have, try to find another sticker sheet that has the letter you need, or you could transform the letters in the sheet that you have to make the letters you need. Let me show you a few layouts where I did just that. I have tons in my stash, I just can't seem to get rid of my old Thickers
Using the brand new Fancy Pants's Office Suite collection (now available in the LCOM store), I created this layout using a picture I found on my phone that my girls took.
I was missing an "A" for my title, so I created one using two "I" and a dash.
Depending on the type of alphas and the font, you can basically craft any letter from the letters you have availble, especially if you have foam letters.
In this next layout using goodies from the Herb& Honey collection by Basic Grey, I crafted my missing "F" using a "Y" and a dash.
Sometimes, all you need a little alteration to get the letter you want. Depending on the font, you can almost always interchange an "U" with an "N", a "W" with an "M", a "P" with a "D". You can sometimes get an "A" by altering a "d" or a "g". Or like in the next example, use an "A" to get an "E".
Do you see it? The first "E" in the word selfie is an upside down "A" with a little piece cut out.
So next time you are stuck with a missing letter, take a look at your sticker sheet and try to find a solution. Sometimes all you need is to look at it upside down to see the letter you need.
Have a great week and be sure to ckeck back in on Saturday for an awesome sketch reveal!

The paper that goes alon with it is also a must have in my book. It is so pretty. And did I mention the wood veneers? It is just so perfect together!
It was perfect up until the point I lost the dot on my Princess title! Not to worry! I simply used a piece of aluminum foil to wrap around a wooden heart to create my custom dot. It matches perfectly!
How else could you use foil? How about as a mat for your picture? I think is helps tie everything together plus I love the glimmer of the foil as a focal point.
Here is my favorite princess all ready to gather candy for the ball. To complete the layout I used some Recollections flowers and some Simple Stories and Basic Grey alpha stickers
There you have it! Fun with foil!
Come join us again tomorrow for an awesome Sketch reveal! You don't want to miss it.

Product Shuffle - Notebook
Anyone that knows me knows that I am a huge fan of everything Disney. I was collecting Disney DVDs before I had kids and one of the first item of my bucket list was to visit Disney World.
I have been a few times since then and I am still in love with everything Disney. We are not going this year so needless to say I am slightly jealous of the few of my friends that have a Disney vacation booked already.
One of my favorite thing that me and my family love to do at Disney if collecting autographs from the characters. You can buy autograph books from any souvenir shop at Disney but I though I could alter a simple notebook to do the job. It was a hit! Not only were the books unique, bigger, we got so many compliments from the characters. It really did elevate our interactions with the characters.
I made one for each of my girls. I had them draw the characters they wanted to see before going to Disney, They collected the autographs and then they added the pictures of themselves getting the autographs on the next page. What a great souvenir they have.
So I decided to make an altered notebook for my friend that is going this spring. All you need is a regular notebook. I purchased this one at the Dollarstore.
Fist step was to Modge Podge some Simple Stories Say Cheese on the cover. I fussy cutted some banners on top to add a little detail
I then added some stickers, washi tape and some ribbon to tie everything together
Now here is the finished altered notebook, all ready for the trip to Florida.
It is so easy! Even if you are not a Disney nut like me, you could alter a notebook in any theme you want. You could alter any notebook to offer as a journal, or a mini scrapbook to give away as a gift or to keep for yourself. Plus it is a great way to use up scraps too

Product Shuffle : 5x7 Kraft Envelopes Take 2
Good morning!
This week I continue my quest to use up part of my massive stash of envelopes! If you want to my first fist take click here.
It seemed like it had been so long since we were invited to a wedding. All of sudden, a couple of months ago we received three invitations! We unfortunately missed two while we were away overseas on our vacation, but I still wanted to send cards. The third wedding is this weekend. While making wedding cards, I will be using envelopes to seal the cards, obviously! But how could I use more? By making a card using the envelope!
I am using a kraft envelope, that way it is sturdy enough to be used as a card. it is already scored, so all I need to do to transform it into a card is to cut the sides. I removed about one inch on each side to make a 5X6 fold over card
I like how it all came together. You would never guess that the card was created using an envelope.
I used Pink Paislee mini alpha stickers, Webster's Pages trim and Prima flowers and flourishes. Super easy! I even embellished the inside using fussy cut doilies from the same paper collection
I did this to hide the glue strip that was on the envelope, but it makes it just that bit more fancy. I hope you like it! I'm off to make more of these envelope cards. See you Saturday for our weekly sketch reveal!

Product Shuffle : 3D foam squares
Good morning!
Jocelyne, here, and welcome to another installment of Product Shuffle, where I try to show you a different way to use some of our scrapbooking supplies. This week we are going to take something that is always hidden and bring it to the front of our page. That's right! We are going to showcase some 3D foam squares!
How are we going to make the foam square pretty and not so sticky? Easy! Simply by taking one side of the already sticky side and dipping it in glitter! Since the 3D foam square is like a double sided sticker, I simply left one side of the protective backing on one side, took the other side out and dipped it in my glitter. I used my finger to brush the excess glitter while making sure it was not sticky anymore. I then added small My Mind's Eye alpha stickers on top for my title. Do you see it?
I wanted lots of sparkle to the rest of the layout, so I used the very pretty American crafts gold letters thickers, a strip of Fancy Pants metallic paper that I passed through a scallop border punch, and some My Mind's Eye enamel shapes.
Those glittery hearts are so pretty!
The butterflies, frames and chevron cutouts are from Pink Paislee's cottage farm collection. They went perfectly with the My Mind's Eye Now and Then and Ashbury Heights and Echo Park's Capture Life paper I used. I also used some Bo Bunny, Prima and Kaisercrafts flowers, Basic Grey enamel dots, CMTH cardstock and Webster's Pages ribbon.
Here is my finished layout!
So there you have it! I hope my new twist on 3D foam squares inspires you. Don't forget to tune in right here next Saturday for even more inspiration when we unveil another sketch. I can't wait to see what our talented designers have created!
Have an amazing day!

Product Shuffle : 5X7 kraft envelopes
Hello!
Jocelyne again with another product shuffle. This week's product shuffle came about after I mistakenly ordered 300 envelops instead of 30! Yes! That's 270 envelopes more! An honest mistake; they came in packs of 10 and a friend of mine said to order 30, I though she meant 30 packs, but she meant 30 envelops. OOPS!! So as I stared at my big box of envelops, I had an idea! Those envelops would be perfect for making a Mini Album!
To make the album, I used my scraps from my stash of Simple Stories Say Cheese and 24/Seven collections. I had loads of pictures from our Disney trip that was just waiting to be organized. This was the perfect project for it.
The first step was taking my hole punch and punching out four holes in the bottom of 6 envelops. I then tied them together with ribbon I found in the bottom of my ribbon box.
I embellished the envelops with twine, stickers and also scrap of Fancy Pants corrugated sheets.
Lifting the envelop tab, you discover pictures from each of the parks. Isn't this fun! All my leftover pictures all organized in this fun album.
We had sent ourselves a post card from the park. It was a little too big to fit inside the envelop, so I decided to glue it on the envelop tab. If you lift Mickey's hand, you will find more pictures hidden inside the other envelop.
I love how every page is interactive.
Plus, I was able to store so many pictures!
Not every envelop was used for storage, I simply used some as an interactive flap.
I even added picture to the back cover.
There you have it! A completed Disney envelop mini album using envelops. I really had a blast making this, reminiscing about our trip and dreaming about our next one. You could use this type of album to store picture from any event. It would also make a wonderful gift. Plus, I have enough envelops to make 26 more just like it! Hahaha!
Thanks for joining me today!
